The Lagoon Table's design was inspired by the many lakes in Glacier National Park that I was fortunate enough to raft in. The water in Glacier is ice cold, crisp and clean. It looks clear from the surface but begins to have a blue-ish hue the deeper it gets.
The table is made from layers of plywood cut out one at a time and then bonded together in order to create a topographical-like surface. The cut-out section is then filled layer by layer with crystal clear epoxy to mimic the water in Glacier National Park.
Altogether there are 12 layers of plywood, and one gallon of epoxy, and features white hair-pin legs.
